Design is more than aesthetics, it is a communication tactic that focuses on speaking through visuals. No matter the deliverable or project type, the primary goal of design is always to successfully communicate an idea through visual elements like color, shape, form, texture, and hierarchy. I personally like to think of design as a puzzle. How can we communicate X while staying true to Y in an efficient Z format?

Bringing emotional impact and strategic visuals together

Music Visualizer

Coffee Table Book:

KB18 is an ethereal Spotify playlist turned into an interactive music visualization book and poster series. The listener can flip through the book and follow along with the playlist with Spotify codes. The artwork in the book is meant to convey the song’s feeling and tone. Resourceful Tool

The Free to Speak Bill of Rights was a project to support activists and reassert our right to free speech. The nonprofits who sponsored this project, Greenpeace and Defending Rights & Dissent, needed the document designed and a website design to promote and easily share the project.

Not only did he synthesize the ideas beautifully and come up with a theme that made sense with our previous work and was fresh, accessible, cohesive and young; but he also created and delivered on a design schedule with ample time to finish ahead of schedule. Both his aesthetic and his artistic abilities are excellent, and his organizational and project management skills are as well. His nuanced understanding of mental health issues was a great asset, and his kind, thoughtful, aware, and caring manner made him an absolute pleasure to work with. We are so grateful for his work!"

Hi, I’m Daniel

I create textured digital artwork inspired by music, emotion, and storytelling. My work explores how rhythm and texture can capture a feeling or moment, much like a song does. After years of freelance design for nonprofits, I’m shifting my focus toward more expressive, art-driven work that connects through atmosphere and mood.
